Frederick J. Dunbar is chief executive officer of Common Cents Planning, Inc. A graduate of Penn State University, he has been in the financial services industry since 1980 and holds numerous licenses and registrations. 

Fred is a registered representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®, member FINRA/SIPC. He is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC). He is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Million Dollar Round Table, Delaware County Estate Planning Council, and Society of Financial Service Professionals. He was selected as an honored member of "Who's Who in Leading American Executives."

Fred is a past member of the Penn State Delaware County Advisory Board. In addition, he has taught Financial Planning for the Small Business Owner, at Penn State Delaware County, Penn State Ogontz, and Delaware County Community College. This four-week course was offered through the Small Business Administration (SBA). Fred also speaks at seminars and community functions, and his commonsense approach to targeting financial goals is refreshing.



William F. Muller is a financial planner with Common Cents Planning, Inc., and a Registered Representative with Commonwealth Financial Network®, member FINRA/SIPC. He joined Common Cents Planning in 2005 after 11 years with The Vanguard Group. He graduated in 1992 from LaSalle University with a degree in Business Administration and in 2006 graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a MS in Financial Services. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and also holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation.

Bill is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In 2008, he was listed in the "Guide to America's Top Financial Planners" by the Consumer Research Council of America. He resides in Media, Pennsylvania, with his wife and two children.

Laureen Smith
is our office manager and has been with Common Cents Planning for six years.  Laureen manages the daily operations of the office.  She also maintains customer accounts and reconciles the daily transaction and performance reports.  In addition, Laureen establishes new client accounts, facilitates the transfer of assets for other custodians, and processes life insurance applications.  She recently completed the FINRA Series 7 General Securities Representative exam.  Previously, Laureen worked in the mortgage industry for 15 years.  
Pat Helms is our longest tenured staff member having been with Common Cents Planning for over 13 years!  Pat is responsible for several key areas within the office.  Her primary responsibility is preparing our clients invoices.  In addition she calculates client's Required Minimum Distributions, and manages the appointment calendar for scheduling client reviews.  
Chris Miller has been with Common Cents Planning for six years.  She is responsible for maintaining client files and managing our paperless office imaging process.  In addition, Chris also coordinates annuity contract and 401k plan asset verification.  She also is proficient in utilizing Morningstar's Principia software to help prepare performance reports for client reviews.  
Michele Troutman is our office Administrative Assistant and has been part of Common Cents Planning since November 2009.  Previously she worked in the greeting card industry for 17 years.  Michele is responsible for typing and organizing client financial plans and performance reviews.  In addition Michele also maintains our prospectus files and organizes our advertising and compliance reports.
